"We paid for an upgraded room with private outdoor fireplace for 5 nights. It rained part of the time, but there were plenty of times when it was dry. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the fireplace even once, because the cushions on the outdoor chairs were soaked and could never dry out due to cold temps. The staff should be provided covers for the cushions (or should remove them) during rainy times. This upgrade was of no value to us. That was very disappointing."

"A quiet comfortable hotel in the very center of Calistoga. The small outdoor mineral pool, open 24 hours, is nice temperature. Aircon is excellent and a small breakfast of coffee and pastries is provided, as are comfortable bathing robes. "

"We chose this properly because of the 9/10 rating it had. It was about an hour away from SF, so we were close enough to the city for our trip. I liked that the check in process was so easy. Once I got there, the front desk receptionist checked me in, in less than 5 minutes. I also asked for a place to eat unique to the city, and things to do locally. He gave me a great suggestion (sweet T’s across the street, dile basketball courts, and let me know everything was walking distance). The room was...
