"Great homely guest house near the seafront in Westcliff. Comfy bed and spacious room. Tasty full English breakfast. Nozzle on room radiator was broken but staff were able to turn it off for me. They stored my luggage the day I left. Would definitely return!"

"The house was a severe disappointment. It was freezing cold when we arrived and smelled musty. The washing machine didn’t work properly and the controls on the oven were so faded it was impossible to know what temperature it was. Kitchen utensils were grubby and generally unusable and the coffee percolator was broken. The sitting room was cold and musty and the bathroom cold. The shower was difficult to use and the window allowed full view of all activities to the neighbours. The garden was a health hazard as it was full of broken things and not as shown in the pictures. Other dangers were the almost vertical staircase, a broken smoke alarm and some dodgy electrics. The owner’s love of old furniture meant that two heavy mirrors were left balanced precariously on fireplaces. The saving graces were the position and the parking. "

"What a little gem! Compact but beautifully decorated apartment close to transport links and walking distance to the sea, Leigh on Sea and Old Leigh. Lovely artwork, very clean, everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom, very comfy bed. "
