"Was a great house. Well stocked and clean. We came to visit the state park and this was a perfect location. Probably 10 minutes from the park entrance so was easy to go back and forth during the day. My only complaint was the host charged us 150 for accidentally breaking a flimsy toilet paper holder stand. "If you’re looking for a perfect getaway, this is it! Judy was an absolute delight - so caring and attentive. The house is stocked with everything you might need, is so fun and laid out with room for relaxing and family togetherness. You are right by the lake, it is a beautiful spot and so calm and relaxing. I could have stayed for months! There is not enough room for me to describe and express how amazing Judy and her getaway house is. We will 100% be back!! Thanks for everything, Judy!!"

"Such a great experience! The view from the rockers on the front porch is fantastic, not a lake front but a perfect hill country view, filled with hills, cardinals, doves and hummingbirds as well as a flock of wild turkey. The cottage itself is so comfy, the bed adjustable, fully stocked with a wide variety of breakfast foods and snacks. The bathroom is roomy. "From the get go, Karen was very responsive. Check in was super easy. Greeted by Karen and then walked in to a house of surprise goodies left by Karen for my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The hot tub, the walk to the river. The animals around the cabin! One of the best places we have stayed. We will be back soon!! 10 out of 10 stars!! "

"Seahorse Cove was a relaxing place to stay on our weekend. Unlike hotels, there was no one banging around next-door or above you. There were great views of the lake. Although the lake is very low, there was a big field of bloop on it where the water should’ve been, and that was just as pretty. I love the floor in the bathroom! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and such. We just had to bring our own groceries. The wind was crazy all weekend, but that has nothing to do with the property....

"the cabins have a great spot overlooking in the river and its a quick drive to the state park. Sometimes there was road noise, but it was nice and quiet and night. The cabin was clean and efficient and my walks down on the riverbed were peaceful and quiet"
