"Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here."

"We greatly enjoyed our weekend at The Owl's Nest. The cabin is quaint as advertised, and it is top notch throughout. Great living space, kitchen, shower, hot tub. Comfortable beds. Well equipped. "Once a few hiccups were worked out we had a great stay at the house in Ludlow. The previous visitors had left a large pile of trash outside and had left the hot tub cover unsecured. After we located the cover lock for the hot tub we were able to secure it so it wouldn’t keep blowing open. The silverware drawer was also broken and falling out of the cabinet. "Love this property. We had everything we needed and then some. wasn't exactly sure as to where to put the trash as I don't have email on my phone , therefore I didn't receive the email about the trash and laundry until I got back home. I would rather have been able to text but everything worked out for us, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time."

"The owner had the place ready to go when we arrived. It was a late arrival, but there were outside lights that were warm and inviting. Plenty of space for our party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Kitchen was welled stocked with cooking necessities, great hangout spaces in the basement and first floor, and a convenient space for ski boots and outer gear in the basement near parking. Kids absolutely loved the pool - and have the pruned hands to prove it. The location couldn't have been better, ~25...
