"It was up a hill a ways and a little hard to find. They had to turn on the heat for me. It wasn't very strong. Old radiator. Tv was tiny. Curtain would have been ineffective. They had storm shutters. That helped. Lots of road noise. Some guests left at 5 am. A little noisy. They wouldn't let you bring in outside food. The one chef was a little overwhelmed by the eight road workers staying there. I ended up skipping dinner. They didn't know I was coming. Didn't check their email. It was worked...

"The location was perfect to visit the various cities/towns on Lake Como. The ferry/port is located less than 15 minutes walk, same with a series of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. If you're into cycling, as I am, this is a great place to base yourself. Bring your own bike or rent from a location within walking distance. I look forward to coming back. A plus is the free access to the gardens of Villa Melzi which are incredibly beautiful and give an easier way to reach Bellagio city center, located at least 20 minutes away by foot.
