"If a spectacular view of Lake Como is the most important thing for you, this is your place. The windows and balcony face the east arm of the lake and the sunrises were spectacular. We booked this through VRBO but it is managed by an Italian management company and the communication with them was spotty at best. They only provide access information a couple of hours prior to check-in which cause a bit of concern. Kitchen was poorly stocked and the toilet in the shower takes some getting used to....

Check-in was very stressful: couldn't find the instructions and when we called for help, the property manager was impatient and seemed annoyed we needed help. "This property was in the best location. Walkable to Bellagio, but set off in a quiet, less touristy area. It had a beautiful terrace with an amazing view of the lake. Really nice and powerful air conditioning. A great local restaurant just steps away. Great beach that it seems not a lot of people know about right nearby too. Would love to stay here again. "

"Location was a 10/10. Walkable to city center. Amazing views. But the room itself left a lot to be desired. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom and bedroom. Hot water lasted between 1 and 2 minutes before turning cold. Toilet seat was broken. WiFi instructions were completely incorrect. We had to look at the router to get the correct log in details. We found out after checking in that Italy has laws regarding when you can turn on heat. Understandable, however, the heater they provided...
