"We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. "This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters."
