"This was my 3rd time staying at QdLR, yet I think this is my first review of the property(?). This is a solid gem in Pinhão. Although about 0.5 km from the town, the location means it is quiet. Wonderful, spacious room, excellent restaurant, and scrumptious breakfast, not to mention great wines and ports from the on-site winery. I had the trip from hell to get here and arrived late. "We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. "Umm can I live here?! Honestly one of the most beautiful, thoughtful and just delightful places I’ve ever stayed. The guesthouse has been renovated to perfection (you can tell love went into every detail), located in an absolutely stunning and peaceful area. The family who owns and runs this property is amazing. I so enjoyed getting to know the manager, who is a very impressive young woman! One of the major highlights of my six weeks in Portugal! Cannot recommend Casa do Santo highly enough "

"Wonderful stay. The view is amazing. Smaller vineyard compared to the big and more popular wineries in the area, which is what we like. The drive up is beautiful. About 35 minutes from Pinhao downtown. Moises greeted us and gave us the tasting tour. We didn’t expect to learn such an amazing family history of the people and the farm. Filipa brings us wonderful organic breakfast to our door every morning. You can see her working around the farm from early morning."
