"We had 4 families with 8 kids and never felt over crowded. Beds were comfortable, and seemed clean"

"Perfect location and views. Great proximity to Beech Mtn. Plenty of space. However, property furnishings were extremely worn and needed to be thrown out. Pillows in tatters, couches and chairs were gross. Coffeemakers were all broken. This property definitely needs a makeover. If that bothers you, you’ll want to stay somewhere else."

"Not cleaned an arrival and some amenities were not working. After repeated calls for maintenance repair where calls were not returned our 3 day stay was without some amenities. Calls that were answered said problem was fixed, but upon returning to cabin that was not true. called again and said they would be there in about 35 minutes. 2 and 1/2 hours later called and they told me the maintenance man's truck broke down and they couldn't get to me. Was totally disgusted as this went on for our 3...

"The property owner double-booked and texted me two days before my stay and said, "Sorry, this was already booked for your dates." However, VRBO had already taken my money and now it is a week later and I have still not been reimbursed.Not only did it leave me and my out-of-town guests in a lurch two days before NYE, but we are also having to fight to get our money refunded with no help or communication from the owner.I DO NOT recommend this property!!!!"

"We had family staying in this cabin for a wedding weekend. Lots of space, plenty of supplies and overall a great place. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again and I recommend it if you are in need of a big cabin."

"This was our family's second stay, and this time we brought another family with their two children. Everyone had a blast. The location is unmatched, especially if you have young children. The walk from the base of the mountain to the house is doable for a 4 year old, and is also doable for an adult to carry the 4 year old and their gear :) All the steep-ish walking is in snow so no worries about falling on slick steps. We visited Jan 2-5 and I would not advise these dates (or any holiday) to...
