"The receptionists were pleasant. Nice lobby/ interior decor. Very nice, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Love having a balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Really good buffet breakfast, and love their selection of teas. Served the best buffet breakfast out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2-week Switzerland trip. "

"This hotel was a hidden gem for me. Although it’s a little farther from the main village, the majestic view of the Eiger Mountain from our balcony was well worth it. It’s truly breathtaking! It was the traditional Swiss chalet but I am impressed with the way the hotel is maintained. Although the room is outdated in furnitures, it is clean, spacious and I love the Swiss chalet charm it brings out. The breakfast has good options. The staff are polite and courteous. We arrived very late in the hotel due to train delays which I notified them ahead of time but didn’t expect it to be very late, they were kind to leave the key and instructions. It was the best decision to stay longer in Grindelwald and I highly recommend staying in this hotel. "

"Location is about 1-2 mins walk fr the train station, and the bus station is just across the street. Everything is closeby. The facade of the hotel may look simple but the interior fr. the reception to the rooms are well maintained. The staff were all helpful and very accommodating. We had amazing view of the alps fr our room. Housekeeping kept room clean everyday. We loved it there."

"The property itself is gorgeous and well equipped. I booked for 1 night and only if I have more time to spend in the hotel. The only thing is the bar tender in the hotel is not polite at all and it seems he does not like to serve or be asked about questions. All the other staffers are exceptionally polite thoigh"
