"This property is perfect for a weekend away in the lakes. It’s very central in Coniston but still quiet so much so we never took the cars out at all! The house is well equipped and beautifully appointed and the communication from Brad was excellent. As noted in the details the staircase is steep and one of the bathrooms is one the second floor but we just felt you needed to be careful on them and then they were fine. Thanks Brad and Sue for a very memorable stay."

"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. "Overall it was lovely but had minor quibbles so 4 star. not 5. Remote control for TV worked poorly. Outside table had broken leg and left unrepaired. Attention needed to back on front and back borders which had begun but not finished. Drinking mugs were unpleasantly heavy and large. Felt a bit end of season! We would however come again and recommend it to friends."

"The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. "My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time. The apartment was super clean, really modern, spacious and comfortable and just the perfect place to go back to after a long walk. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. Will definitely be going back!"
