"We stayed at this Alpine Family home with friends (8 total) and it was as described & more. The home was even more beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared than the photos! Jess was an excellent host, who provided us with a fun snowmobile ride with our things & made the experience wonderful for our families-4 adults, 2teens & 2 ten year olds & dog the location was perfect! We are grateful & looking forward to planning the next visit!"

"First time in Bear Valley, what an amazing location! I was a little worried about the logistics, since you have to bring everything to the cabin by Snowmobile. We have timbersled snow bike kits on our dirt bikes but no trailer so it really couldn’t transport items or additional passengers. They had a shuttle service though and was able to help us get to the cabin even after office hours when we had to deal with a flat tire on our truck on the way. "It was nice to get away from the intense Sacramento heat, however, it was still quite hot in the mountains! The rental property was quite spacious and provided private space for the different family members. We were somewhat disappointed with the overall appearance of the house. It definitely could use some updating. A lack of lighting. Ceiling fan in living area did not work. Would suggest replacing with a fan/light combo.
