"I absolutely loved this cabin! The host went above and beyond to make their cabin comfortable for their guests. Every room in the cabin felt cozy and it was so easy to relax in a space that was impeccably clean. I was also impressed with the coffee/tea bar they had set up for their guests. The outdoor area had a large deck and in back of the cabin was a fire pit area. "Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean...

"We had a wonderful time staying at 2 Dog Lodge! We celebrated my son’s birthday in the woods, that’s all he wanted and it definitely was exactly what he’d hoped for. Our dog also loved all the special nods to him. It was great not having to bring bowls, bed, etc. The yard was fun for all of us! I hope we can come back when there’s snow to enjoy again!"

"Our stay in the cozy cabin was a good time of year to go. Very quiet so my wife and I enjoyed our time. A few things that would need an upgrade is the lighting as it needs a little more brighter lights, the Bar B Que grill was not used as I went to grill steaks and the last person before us did not bother to clean was disappointed. The big couch you definitely sink in to it. Overall it was a nice stay. "

"The owner was very responsive. Always love a code to access a house. There are a ton of stairs (as clearly stated) to get up to the top. The main room is nice and light with a terrific view. The kitchen had everything we wanted (electric griddle for pancakes), coffee machine, toaster, microwave, tea kettle for hot cocoa. There were tons of cups, plates and cutlery. We were so surprised that the old wall heaters heated up the house so easily, plus the wood fireplace, which was so nice to sit...

"Nice cabin, nice neighborhood. Kitchen fully stocked. Grill easy to use. Had trouble with lock box. Owner gave us access to lock box. She was very helpful. Upstairs toilet had trouble flushing. Had to turn water on & off again in between flushing. Shower curtain fell down. You Tub slow to drain. Ticurtaitrouble draining. "

"This was a cozy, clean, well-stocked facility. The kitchen was really user friendly. I didn't see wood for the fireplace, but we didn't use it. I read a few reviews that said the hot tub didn't work (it did for us), or that it wasn't clean (it was for us.) The parking looks like it would be a challenge in the snow, but it just took a little time to make the hard turn onto the property. There was plenty of room.
