Our hosts were brilliant and when there was a brief region wide power cut they were straight to us to ensure we had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to local pubs and a great historical stone circle at Stanton Drew. We loved our stay and made all the more special with it being Christmas. "

"The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend."

"The hut is in an off grid location. Perfect for a weekend away. Mandy had thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a great addition with amazing views. We had a slight issue on our last day where the hut ran out of gas but Mandy was kind to sort this. We would definitely recommend. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. Would recommend and will be back for another visit. Thank you"
