"Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, lovely location and pool. Plenty of opportunities to enjoy antics of monkeys around the pool in the evenings. Steps could use a little more lighting at night and area can get a little noisy at night. Special shout out to Moses who went out of his way to engage and serve guests!"

" We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal. The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. If you're considering a stay here—do it. You won’t regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!"

"I really looked at all the Manuel Antonio hotel options and this one was truly the best for a family. Food and drinks weren’t cheap but the pool area was fantastic and they even cooked the fish we caught on our tour. Rooms very clean and super friendly staff. Want to see tons of monkeys and iguanas on property? This is the place "

"We were very pleasantly surprised that this hotel sits on the top of its very own nature park. We saw more wildlife here than in the parks! I regret I didn't bring a telephoto lens. Monkeys played every morning while the tucans sang their unique songs. It maintains an intimate tree-top like atmosphere with only a limited amount of rooms at the top. The open-air architecture has you feeling like you are in an upscale treehouse, with the dining bar on the edge of a large precipice looking out to the ocean. The staff were exceptionally friendly. One even went out on his day off to procure our son a birthday cake!"

"Gorgeous property, felt like luxury in the middle of the jungle. Our room was great - the shower is nice & gives you the option to open the sliding window & look at nature while you shower. We are not usually pool users but we loved the pools at Gaia & used them everyday. The drinks & food were above average & all of the staff were exceptional - patient & kind to us, remembering my husband & I by name. The hotel offers a free tour by the Macaw reserve & through the forest with Clarence - what a lovely guide & experience! The transportation to & from your room is via golf cart - this was no issue but something to be aware of. Overall a wonderful experience - would stay again in a heartbeat."
