"Wonderful old hotel right on the Ohio river "

"Friendly staff, clean hotel rooms and common areas. The building has nice old charm and is well maintained. Restaurant food was great, and was the bar, it offers a large selection of drinks. Gift shop available and coffee cafe on site was nice. Room rate was very reasonable and free parking close to the hotel. Surprised to get a personal mailed thank you note for our stay from the hotel. Shows appreciation and how classy the place is. I would surely stay again if in the area."

"Really nice historic property. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Rooms are on the third floor accessible only by stairs so not the right venue for anyone with mobility challenges. We would definitely stay again."

"Everything was great. We had a wonderful time. Only thing is maybe have someone do a once over for spiders on the inside. Didn't bother us to takecare of them but some people might not care for it. But other than that we had a amazing time."

"We had a wonderful weekend enjoying biking, hiking, and visits to local breweries. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the porches were beautiful. Truly a great visit."

"Was a lovely place. Very interesting decor. Reminded me of my childhood. Robert was very informative about the area. Although it seems secluded, it was 10 minutes away from restaurants and sightseeing places. Fully equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Place was beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed the surrounding woods and seeing deer near by. The only complaint is that there wasnt a very good description of the long hill driveway with gravel, and that’s only because we had motorcycles. But we managed and really enjoyed ourselves, would go back for sure:)"
