It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "We liked the location. Apartment was perfect. Just as pictured. Although we were there during the shoulder season, we found the noise from the boardwalk area to be a problem at night. The night of the soccer game was very disruptive.in general we loved it. Be prepared for late nights though!"
