"This property was absolutely amazing. The back porch view was outstanding giving us the appreciation to enjoy the scenario. The stars popped at night, we saw critters, and the property’s river access allowed my kids to fish and even swim some. In fact, i found some deep water holes when Inwas rescuing a fishing lure on the opposite river bank. "So the house is beautifully furnished, the decor is very nice. My family said it's a nice 70s style house with a touch of modern, and the appliances work very well. There are no laundry appliances. River access in the back yard, is good, over grown with lily pads. But still very nice and great vacation spot."

While the house could use a little maintenance (some paint chipping), it is equipped with anything you might want in the kitchen and the bedrooms are very comfortable and inviting. "My family had a wonderful experience at Ashe Creek Hideaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, great for stargazing at night and bird watching during the day. The cabin itself is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed playing yard games that were on the property and roasting marshmallows over the large outdoor fire pit. Our dog loved running around the fenced in yard and relaxing on the porch. Short drive to Garner State Park for hiking and picnicking. 100% recommend!"

"We enjoyed our time at this quiet and peaceful property. The house is in a gated area with other homes with large plots of land. The kids had a great time playing basketball and foosball in the fun upstairs area and adventuring through the wooded area. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and gazing at the stars. There aren’t trails but can be easily navigated. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The water is hard being in a rural area and had a sulfur like smell but we got used to it....
