"I've stayed here twice before with friends and family, due originally to proximity to an annual event in the area. This time, we came just for the Cabin, and got a chance to enjoy things our busy schedule hasn't let us do before; exploding the path along the creek, resting by the firepit, etc. The area is as gorgeous in the Autumn as we'd hoped, and the care that Anita puts into preparing the Cabin for guests is evident everywhere, and very much appreciated. "My wife and her sister grew up going to this lake as kids, so they were so excited when we found this listing! We went to the Stoneboro Fair, and could see the fireworks from the lake. Great spot. "

"First of all the pictures on the VRBO posting do not do this rental justice. This is a gorgeous cabin nestled in a very private wooded area with a pond. The set up inside the cabin is very comfortable, warm and inviting. We arrived to a bottle of local wine on the table; Check-in was extremely easy. Check out was the same. "We booked the cottage last minute on our way to the east coast after our previously booked lodging cancelled. The owner was quick to respond and the property worked perfect for our needs. It was a nice place to relax for the evening and get some sleep before we got back on the road. The kennel was also great for the dogs after a long day in the car! We did note there is one panel shorter than the rest right along the dog house structure. We were only there for one night and didn't look around...

"Great property in New Wilmington but not to far from New Castle shops and restaurants. The property has a great layout with comfortable furnishings, it was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was in working order and none of the furnishings were overworn. We will recommend to friends and we will stay here again when visiting the area."
