"We stayed for one night and we were just traveling in the area. The property is very nice and a great change from the chain hotels. There is a great deal of character in the furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. We found places to eat nearby.The staff recommended a dinner place that was good and we never would have found it on our own. One thing I found a little strange was that this place is rented without any staff on site. They were responsive by text, but I would have preferred to interact with a real human. Another guest arrived when we were there and rang the doorbell repeatedly. I felt that I had to answer and talk to them, although they did realize fairly quickly that they had to call the owners."

"The Holiday Inn Express was one of the quieter hotels I've stayed in. The bed was firm, the perfect condition for me. The included breakfast was very good. "
