"Our stay was all we hoped it would be, and more. The house itself is beautiful, but the reason to rent this property is the location: embedded into the hills separating 29 Palms from the national park. The view is spectacular, and the house is isolated from its neighbors, giving guests the feeling of complete privacy. I chose this property so my family could celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. I wanted to splurge a little, and provide her with something unique. Mission accomplished! One thing to note (and to be honest it's something I should have anticipated): if you bring a pet to the location, keep in mind that this property is likely to have coyotes wandering nearby. My daughter's little dog got a bit freaked out when we tried to walk her near the house at night. We were able to work around this easily enough by trying to do our walks during the day, and venturing closer to town for evening walks. This is not a complaint, it's simply something that goes with the property's wild and beautiful location. Last but not least: the property's host is terrific. She's available when you need her, and her rules are minimal. She also decorated the place with lovely Happy Birthday banners and balloons! This place is highly recommended if you're looking for something special. "

"Absolutely great! We booked this last minute on the way to Joshua Tree and I can say that I am very impressed! Would stay here again. The front desk associate was fantastic. We checked in Friday around 9pm, so whoever was helping us was so welcoming and made us laugh. If you are looking for a place to stay near Joshua Tree for a great price I highly recommend! "

"This home has everything we needed for a 5-day stay to explore Joshua Tree National Park. The patio has a terrific view of the desert and hills in the background. We enjoyed relaxing there to watch the changing shadows on the hills as the sun set. We enjoyed the full moon from the hot tub as well! The owners are very friendly -- communication and check-in were both efficient, and their restaurant suggestion was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy Joshua Tree. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! There were 6 of us and we each had our own room and bathroom. The house was really well stocked--plenty of the basics like pots, pans, dishes, but also pleasantly stocked with extras such as spices, cooking oil, and lots of pool towels. We were super relieved to find a bag of ground coffee waiting for us. We had brought whole beans and no grinder, so that worked out perfectly. We would definitely return."
