"The hotel and its location are great for the town as close enough to walk and far enough to be quiet for the children to sleep. Saw a lot of bad reviews about breakfast however one of the best European breakfasts I’ve had for a long time (and I travel 8 months of the year). The pool and steam were great after a day in the slopes and the VIP lift pass was very much worth the extra £. Bansko lift system needs an overhaul but I’m sure that’ll come with all the extra income. 2 minor hotel...

Staff experience varies: some are great (reception, concierge and breakfast), some are simply unpleasant, inefficient and outright seemed annoyed by their job serving guests…(especially the SPA and the lobby lounge)"

"The host owners were excellent, always helpful and good attitude with our questions and requests for meals, sauna, jacuzzi etc. We enjoyed the nye party they hosted with other guests. Food was typical local meals, all delicious and waiting staff very good. We thoroughly enjoyed this rather than going in to the town.
