"No one knew I was coming to check in. Had to sit outside in a fairly sketchy area while the caretaker spoke with the property manager. Place was pitch black, no open onsite bar, restaurant, entertainment place. Per listing. Very disappointed in this stay. Ended up eating the 211 dollars and getting a different room. Definitely not a “party” hotel. "

"We arrived early before check in but was greeted warmly and shown around. Before check-in we had instant use of all of the hotels amenities and was set up with an umbrella and beach chairs. Our unit was ready early and we were able to unpack. Ocean front, beautiful views, incredible sunset over the water right outside our room. The staff was great, the restaurant food was excellent, bar & food service on the beach. Because we had an early morning tour, a continental breakfast was provided. ...

"Very nice, quiet and comfortable room. Parking on-site is a plus. Close (10 minutes by car) to Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches. The owner is very courteous and helpful, he provided lots of valuable tips during our stay. Contact the owner via WhatsApp for instructions on how to get to the location (in CR some streets don't have house numbers, and this is the case here)."
