" Beautiful resort, absolutely top class staff and such a wonderful place. This is exactly what we wanted, a resort out of the main part of town but still easy to go in town. The staff helped us find a local driver that went above and beyond (thank you again Noom). Stand out staff were May, Earth and well everyone we interacted with. I give them a 10 of 10. Also food on site was great."

"This place is very beautiful and rather quiet but it is EXTREMELY difficult to get any sort of transportation here. It is located on top of a very steep hill and no mobile taxi service will come here. The hotel can call you a car but it will be very expensive and take at least an hour to arrive. "So...before booking this on hotels.com I did a search for "Chiang Mai Unique Mud Houses" on google maps and was directed to a location that has nothing to do with the hotel/resort (though a photo shows the actual resort). To get there I tried the "Grab" taxi service but it did not recognise Chiang Mai Mud houses, so I called the number included in my reservation to be told by the agent there (in reasonable English) that he had no record of my reservation and he does not deal with hotels.com...

"We escaped Chiang Mai during Songkran and found this nice, little hotel up in the mountains. The rooms are very nice and clean, the staff so friendly and helpful and the surrounding nature just awesome. The food is also great. Only the breakfast gets a bit boring after a few days ( choose between american style and thai style breakfast). Just a few minutes walk down the road you will find a small village with a shop and some restaurants. Bring cash with you from Chaing Mai as there is NO ATM...

"This inn was beautiful. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Even the dog, Alice, warmed up nicely to us. (She stays outside but welcomes you home with a wagging tail). The room was pleasant and the building is solidly built. No mosquitos or ants which was refreshing because most places in Thailand have issues with these pests. Clean hotel and good location.

"Nice clean hotel with good sized room. It was great to have a nice pool to cool off in the afternoon after seeing the sites. The room was clean and the hotel offered the choice of not having the cleaning staff in every day. As a single person in the room I did not need the room cleaned every day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near a main road in the old town and a good place for pick up for day tours. It is close to restaurants and easy walking to several tourist sites."
