"The property is located very close to restaurants shops and bars. Next to it the owner has a motorcycle rent and laundry, the check in lady was very polite. They allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage before check in and after check out time. The room has a fan and the shower it’s next to the toilet with enough space. It’s has a small fridge and a warm blanket which you don’t need. For the price this is a great option. "

"There was no running water! And the a/c barely worked - then I changed rooms. The 2nd room almost as bad - took about 3 hours to cool down. The sign at reception about the city having a problem was uhhh a word template with the date obviously being changed. "

"We picked Grandmom's Place just needing to spend one night in Krabi Town. The room was comfortable and clean, and it was very good value for money. One big plus is that it is within walking distance of good restaurants, bars and the like - it is very convenient indeed - will certainly stay there again"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, took care of requests and provided great advice for things to do. The room is beautiful and the service was great. Location is perfect if you’re motorbiking around - it’s away from the kinda trashy ao nang beach - and the window overlooked the ocean so that’s pretty great. There is an outdoor shower to wash off from the beach when returing home. They provide a motorbike if you need one (250 baht a day). Breakfast was nice to have there, but we would have...

"Very near to the Aonang Night activities. But room is very old and not clean entirely. Bed is covered with plastic and very hard. Only provide 1 pillow for each person. No kettle or iron. Only clean the room when asked and at 5pm. Water pressure is low. TV cannot be used at all. Wifi is unavailable. Overall please find another hotel."

"Reasonable value given the lower price. A little too far out of town to walk, but we already knew that. Not much going on in the immediate area. It is possible to find a better location for same price range."

"Very cool place, the pool is perfect and the view is unreal so to have both is amazing especially for the price. Do think the place could with some updating as it’s beginning to look dated. The hill up to the property is very steep, some taxis and drivers won’t go up there so be mindful of that when you’re booking. Me and my partner are young and fit and it was a task. There is a shuttle that runs throughout the day that’s free to guests so if you time it right you won’t need to worry. "

"This was one of our favorite properties, we were located on the second floor and even though the front desk said it didn't have a view it have a really nice view of the mountains. The bed was super comfortable, large pool and recliners available, its basically a mini apartment with a kitchen, full fridge, spacious shower and a large balcony. Clean, friendly and great resort

"The 3 pools are good, the resort goes from the east beach to the west beach which makes for an easy way through Railay. The food was good, we were happy with the breakfast options. The room was absolutely great, some would say a little dated but we were perfectly happy. The resort was clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful, even giving us a lift across the resort in a golf cart and helping us sort out a transfer to the airport following our stay."

"Nice little hotel. Had to get their app in order to call for housekeeping and request services which I thought was initially annoying but actually ended up being easier. It’s off the main strip so a little quieter at night and was very clean. Breakfast was okay but convenient to be included. Across from the new night market and 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Sort of in the middle of the strip which worked out well. The tourism desk in the lobby charges much more for tours than the app so just quote the app price and they’ll honour it. "

"Super clean and large room, bed was hard. Pool was clean. Offered free transfer to Ao Nang however the timings weren’t accurate was an hour late multiple times. Good location next to pharmacy and 711. Allowed us to leave our bags for 5 hours before our transfer. Would return and recommend "

"We stayed at 5 different properties while in the area including The Surin Phuket. The Rayavadee was certainly the highlight. The jungle meets the beach in the most incredible way. Our bungalow was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and the most luxurious shower. The food was delicious and the spa was amazing. It was definitely a layer back five star experience that didn’t feel stuffy."
