"We arrived in Dillsboro on Thursday 9/26 as Helene was beginning her havoc in the area. Lin who works in it the shop below the VRBO checked us in and was so helpful and caring. She made sure we had flash lights and battery operated candles, in case we lost power (which we never did). There were so many shops and restaurants in walking distance we headed out to explore, shop and dine before the weather got too bad. Such a charming area and lovely people.
