"We loved the private beach and spent most of our time on the recliners in the shade of the palm trees and beach umbrellas. The surf is pretty strong here which make swimming difficult and actually dangerous. But there is also a nice, large pool. The people were very nice and always willing to help. This actually applies to everyone we met in Puerto Rico. The Mahi Mahi Bar provides provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and is nicely located on the beach but there are other and better options outside...

"Great experience overall but wasn’t very clean and are sofa was stained and curtains were nasty. Hot water wasn’t great and was provided no blankets. Other than that it was a very beautiful vacation. I’d go back but I’d thoroughly clean the suite myself. Washer/dryer and hot tub plus full kitchen and dishwasher was nice. Beds were hard not comfortable at all "

"Beautiful property that looks like a tropical forest. Rooms were clean and service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Negatives are limited seating at beach and limited seating with umbrellas at pool. Also, in spite of their fantastic ocean views, they do not have furniture on balconies and discourage sitting on balcony. Not sure why and it seemed to make little sense to have balconies that you can’t relax on. Also their WiFi is a real issue. ...

"This stay was great! Had everything we needed and is strategically placed in an area that is walking distance from the beach, lots of restaurants, stores also close to la placita which is also a plus for those with intentions of visiting that. Only thing is parking can be a little tricky, they have an area in the front or the side where you can park for free but it does fill up quickly. They have a guarded parking lot off to the side which is $25 a day which is more than reasonable in my...

"Hugos place was surprisingly gorgeous. Ive stayed in a few places in PR and this time Old San Juan was a 1st. I loved the beautiful plants that adorned the walkway to the room. The property was clean and quiet. Located in the middle of Old San Juan, close to stores, restaurants and the cruise port. Hugo replied back quickly and addressed any of our concerns. This rental went smooth and effortlessly. Hugos rental is definitely recommended. You wont be dissapointed. "
