"The pirate retreat is a great spot. Yes there could be some fixes here and there but the view and feeling like you’re floating above the waves more than makes up for some deferred maintenance. "If there was one thing to take away from this trip, it is that WE collectively as a people do not stop to truly relax and enjoy our surroundings anymore. We are constantly inundated with distractions from our phones, computers and televisions...This place will change all that. Castillo del Mar is architecturally beautiful with wood beamed ceilings and giant glass windows that open onto the expansive decks over the Pacific ocean.
