"Greta location, 10-15 mins walk into the city centre. Very warm welcome from the chap at the hotel. Couldn’t do enough for us. Room was spotless, tea and coffee facilities. Hotels.com advertise a free breakfast but they don’t do this anymore. Not an issue for us but could probably be updated. Slight noise from other rooms and the street but the hotel provide earplugs and the windows have an extra screen to try and keep noise out. "Nothing terribly unique. But it was withing decent walking distance of York city center and all the attractions, shopping, and food that goes with that. The breakfast was also incredible. Really excellent. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt quite upscale. "

"Slightly complicated check in process with nobody on site and having to call a mobile number. However, once I was in everything was very clear. My room was up 2 very steep sets of stairs. It was compact but clean, with a small ensuite. The shower pressure was very weak unfortunately, but otherwise the room was excellent value for money. "Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...

"The studio room we stayed in was lovely and cosy. Everything felt very high-end from the decor to the coffee machine. There wasn’t one thing I’d change. The free parking at the back of the building was an added bonus too. It was the perfect base to explore Harrogate Centre, 5 minute walk and you’re in the centre. Totally recommend this place and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. "

"This property situated very close to Harrogate town Centre and the proprietors jan and Mark are the most friendly helpful people you could wish for. the breakfast was stunning. The choices were lovely. A couple of times I had the smoked salmon scrambled egg and mushrooms which set me up for the day. The room is super clean. The bed was really comfortable and it was a wonderful place to stay."

"A great place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for the one night of our stay. Lovely served breakfast by a really pleasant girl who was on her own but remained calm and efficient under pressure. Two small criticisms,couldn’t find plain old terrestrial tv but everything else available and the “garden room” we booked turned out to be the front garden on to the main road. "Fabulous! Tony & Diana - who run the property - were delightful and incredibly helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated and, for once, are the same size in real life as they are in the publicity photos! Very handy location: our car remained in the parking area right in front of the hotel for the duration of our stay and we walked into town every day. Breakfast is included. There is a great choice and it is all cooked to perfection. Would recommend without the slightest hesitation."

"Comfortable and well equipped home from home. Welcoming and communicative hosts and an excellent guide to the local area. The parking disc was a handy and thoughtful idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cooked a few nights in, kitchen is fine and functional. The bath is large and lovely and the bed comfortable . One big comfy sofa with extra blankets would be an upgrade to the living room. Thank you! <3"

"Stayed here with a friend for 2 nights. Location is great, really close to the station 4/5 min walk max, and close to all the bars and restaurants. Stairs up to the apartment for those it may affect. Great to have parking. Comfy rooms and well equipped "
