The place is so cheap & dirty that it looks more like a brothel (i.e, dirty bedsheet, broken side of bed, clumsy common area, insufficient light in the room & common areas, didn't provide any towel). It's very very unhygienic & unsafe for family considering the kind of people rent it (I found only cheap quality people rent it). "Had a fabulous holiday at Cavala. The hotel has real charm and the Friday nights have a great atmosphere. Banana Republic immediately across the road where the hotels pool and bar is, is a great space, beautifully maintained garden and great food and enthusiastic staff. Will definitely recommend. Balcony was a good size with a great view. The only negative was the amount of large ants in the bathroom which there were more than just a few. It maybe was due to just being after the monsoon. "
