"It was unique to see the entire Balinese culture at the resort whilst we got to enjoy the peace and serenity. Beautiful and massive place to relax. Choice of restaurants. Just attention to cleaning of the facilities especially bathrooms and linen would increase the resort level. Service at Indian restaurant needs attention but food was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay "

"Location was really good. Most of the staff were friendly. Place is a little run down. Breakfast was average. Hated having to step up 1 step then step down into the bath/shower. For someone with bad ankles this was a worry. We were in a cottage down the back so noise from the Y Bar was not an issue . Basically you get what you pay for, while overall it wasn’t bad but probably wouldn’t go back. "

"We had an incredible one-night stay at Mara River Safari Lodge in the Kifaru Family Suite. The room was spacious and welcoming, complete with a fruit platter on arrival. The balcony offered breathtaking views, and feeding zebras directly from it with carrots left in little baskets was an unforgettable experience! "The Conrad has beautiful facilities, fabulous rooms which are cleaned every day. The grounds at immaculate and kept in pristine condition. There are 3 restaurant’s to eat at along with room and pool service. The swimming pool is enormous and wraps around the hotel. It’s not verr deep so excellent for the children. The hotel has bicycles to ride and plenty of sun lounges with huge umbrellas. At night time there is evening entertainment and all the night lights and candles around the hotel create a wonderful atmosphere. The Spa is wonderful with its own pool, sauna and steam room. All the employees at the hotel are amazingly friendly, kind and considerate and really want to help you. I will definitely return. "
