"Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. Plenty of hot water and heating works well throughout. We would suggest an update to lounge/seating area but perhaps some lounge chairs. Village has 3 good resturants and bars are good. Well stocked Sherpa shop with fresh bread and all essentials. We will recommend to others!"

"We had a big family reunion and ski holiday over Christmas and it was perfect! Beautiful part of village positioned above the ski in with a couple of lovely restaurants. Host could not have done more to help us and make us feel at home and welcome. We could either walk down to the ski lifts or leave ski equipment in the garage. Thanks for a great holiday! "

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). "Great detached chalet in a quiet location at the top of Sainte Foy, perfect for our family of 5. Good sized warm boot room for all the gear. Beds were comfortable. Ski-in / out about 40 metres from chalet which was great. No allocated parking but plenty of spaces nearby, just below the chalet by restaurant 1580. "We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it...
