"The chalet is very nice and typical for the neighbourhood. Everything you need is in there. There is a very nice view, we really enjoyed the terace for breakfast and diner. In between we explored the land of St. Bernhard. Terence sent us a very good explanation by forhand about everything and housekeeper Nicole was also very quick with her respons (we had one question)."

"Sejour dans un magnifique chalet dans un environnement exceptionnel, dans un hameau enneigé, tres calme et une vue dégagée sur la montagne environnnante a chaque fenêtre.Malheureusement l'annonce prevon "bain a remou" inexistant (petite baignoire enclavée sous les combles uniquement. Le logement est prevu pour 8 alors que nous etions tres a l'etroit a 7, surtout pour la partie couchage au RDC dont un lit en hauteur sans echelle d'accès. L'hote n'a pas su nous renseigber sur la presence ou non...

"We were family of eleven ranging from 2 years to 67 years old. We loved the layout and the fact that the rooms all had bathroom with showers. It was clean and well stocked with cookware amd dishes etc. and in a great neighborhood. Beds were very comfy. It has amazing views and was very close to Chamonix center. Three things would have made it even better: a couple of good knives, a few light blankets or throws, and laundry hanging lines in bathrooms. Thank you Jayne and Jonathan!"

"Great location in quiet residential area but close to les planards amusement park and only 7 min walk to the city centre. Very comfortable house with a lot of character and everything we needed. We went in a heat wave so it was a little warm at night but it's not normally this hot in the area. The terrace had amazing mountain views"

"Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat zwei Kamine und einen großen Garten. Es gibt große Wohnzimmer, die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein aber sehr gemütlich. In den Küchen sind alle nötigen Geräte, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und kann das auch jedem nur Empfehlen!"

"We had a big family reunion and ski holiday over Christmas and it was perfect! Beautiful part of village positioned above the ski in with a couple of lovely restaurants. Host could not have done more to help us and make us feel at home and welcome. We could either walk down to the ski lifts or leave ski equipment in the garage. Thanks for a great holiday! "

"Appartement duplex fonctionnel, pièce à vivre avec 2 canapés immenses. Nous étions 12 et nous étions bien installés. Les chambres avec salle de douche et toilette sont appréciées. Il faudrait juste mettre un peu de vaisselle supplémentaire : plats, tasses entre autres."

"We had a lovely stay at Chalet Polar. It is a well-laid out chalet with four double rooms, though one is probably better suited to single occupancy - not a problem for us, as we were a family of five. The WiFi is fast, the kitchen well-appointed, and Wim is helpful and communicative. The chalet is located in Les Praz, just down the road towards Chamonix from the roundabout. 15-minute walk to town, and ideally located for the trails. Recommended."
