"Stayed in a female only cabin. Everything was very clean in the rooms and the shared toilets. The instructions on classifying the rubbish is very clear and can definitely be understood by tourists who don’t read Japanese. The staff can speak in both Japanese and English. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "

"I didn't realize this was a hostel. Pretty bummed when I showed up at the property and realized that. Not a fan of the checkin process- very cold, impersonal, and time consuming. Though a girl finally did show up to help a bit at the end. It was close to the train station, beach, and Enoshima Island which was nice. "
