"Lori and David were amazing hosts! They were super friendly and had a really nice place! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. They had a keurig with coffee and even brought fresh eggs from their free range chickens. The porch was an absolutely amazing place to sit and relax whether at night or early morning. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking at this place. "

"This house is a perfect getaway if you want to be active and use the lake or simply relax on the deck. It is so dog friendly with the dog yard - my dog and I played out there a ton! We were able to cook our meals and just hang out on the deck and enjoy the views. The state park entrance is around the corner and we enjoyed hiking in the mornings. Great house! "

"Rented Blackwater for my 40th birthday celebration. I couldn't imagine a better place if I tried. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The arcade was beyond my dreams! The decorations for Halloween made it even better. We're already planning a return in the summer. Communication with the host was fast and reliable, and they added some personal touches for my birthday that were very sweet and definitely appreciated. The kitchen also had everything we needed! I'm in love."

"If you are looking to getaway for a relaxing vacation, then this is the place. The home is just as described in the listing. The sunrise/sunset lake views are amazing! There is plenty to do inside and outside of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, plates, and utensils you'd need.
