"Vittoria Suites has been my go-to hotel during my annual trips to Kenya for the past eight years. I've even recommended it to friends and family as a "hidden gem" in Kisumu. When traveling with my family, however, I’ve usually opted for other hotels that I thought would be more kid-friendly, like Imperial Hotel (now Sarova Imperial) or Sovereign Hotel. "I stayed at the property for one week. The rooms were spacious but dated. Some fixtures need to be replaced (stained carpets, mosquito netting, shower curtains). Appeared to be mold on bathroom ceiling, and dead insect in bathroom on check-in. However, staff extremely friendly and restaurant was very good, although expensive by local standards. Wifi was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I rate stay as average."
