"Nice hotel, comfy room but quite dark, nowhere to do makeup. Noisy from the street but expected that. Breakfast a little unimpressive and staff not the most attentive, just left to sort yourself out. Very dated room in much need of a makeover but bed was comfortable and shower was good. "

"The room was absolutely fine for one night's solo travel as I went to a friend's party. I didn't want to spend a fortune and the room was a good price in the right location. I hadn't expected tea and coffee making facilities, nor a hairdryer but was pleasantly surprised with both. The bed was comfy and clean. "The Inn dates back to the 1600's, the owner who's been there about 22 years was lovely and his food was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy although the bathroom was a little jaded but it suited us perfectly and we would go back "

"I stayed here because my dance class at Claverton is near and Beckington was easy to get to off the A36. The staff were super friendly and the dinner I had was lovely, hot and well cooked. My only critique is that I had asked whether my room was in a quiet location and it actually wasn't. The noise from the bar was very loud and went on until after 11:30 which spoiled my visit a bit. I also think that an upgrade of the bathroom is probably due for room 4."

"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. "A grade11 listed building with acres of old quirky charm. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at this very busy time of year (Christmas lunches and dinners) Many customers supported this inn which included a great local clientele. "Excellent property, spacious and located in a great area to walk to so much. Only issue was no AC, which was expected, but not enough fans. The property could use ceiling fans or more portable fans as it was very warm during the day and bery warm on a few evenings. "

"Lovely, old hotel. Great location. Need to use stairs in some parts of hotel. There’s construction going on around the hotel. Staff were friendly, extremely accommodating and changed our room because of the noise. Decorated very nicely for Christmas! "
