The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. Cannot praise the lovely staff highly enough - friendly, helpful and happy. This venue is run extremely well we would happily revisit. Breakfasts are excellent with locally sourced produce. "

"We stayed at Channings because it was convenient to visit family in Clifton. Rooms were fine for our needs, wifi was good enough for work-related video calls, continental breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Since the rooms are above a bar, we were not surprised by typical noise from downstairs, and it did not affect our ability to rest and sleep. "

There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "
