"The view is breath taking . Unfortunately the couches and bed were extremely uncomfortable. All of the beds are very worn and thin. The springs jabbed into my hips and back all night. My mother in law is 70 years old and she didn’t get much sleep in her bed because of the same. The bedroom off the kitchen has a door that leads into the living room. The doorknob to that door falls off and you have to turn and pull tediously in order to open the door otherwise it falls off and your stuck. While...

"We had a great time! Amazing deck! Beautiful location. The only thing I would warn folks about is the steepness of the stairs to the property - there are a lot of stairs and they are pretty steep. "

However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery. "Great place for a weekend get away! It’s beautiful, very clean and welcoming! The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. Very close to wineries and great restaurants! "

"2 couples, stayed there in mid November. House inside and out is practically brand new. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels and linens. It was cold while we were there, but the outside deck is very large and spacious. Grill could use some help, and there are no TVs. Basement is a plus, but we didn't use it. Property manager lives right across the street and greeted us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. When we come to the finger lakes, we will rent this house again."

"The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road. "Loved the location and private access to the lake. Sunrises on the porch with coffee were unforgettable. 1950s charm with modern amenities, can’t beat it. Loved the original front door and rotary phone, a step back in time. Steps not a problem, just a little extra exercise. Clean and comfy. Only notes would be to replace the couch (seems well loved) and address the subfloor in the bathroom by the shower, but not deal breakers. Will stay again! "

"Unfortunately, the house was filthy when we checked in. The floors and bathrooms were dirty, as was the kitchen. We overcame this, as the house at the lake was spectacular with a refrigerator, bathroom ice maker and barbecue. We were able to spend long periods of time at the lake without climbing back to the main house. "Our stay was okay. The waterfront is beautiful with no weeds and great for swimming. There are very few stairs leading to the water. The basement AC works very well and the bathroom downstairs is very up to date. The location is very quiet with minimal traffic. The location is amazing but there are many issues that come with it. "The house location was beautiful. We loved waking up to the view of the lake. Super quiet and serene. Ed and Robin were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful with local information and suggestions. They were ready to assist whenever needed. Unfortunately the weather kept us from taking advantage of their kayaks but they were all available for use. Wonderful stay!"
