"Riad Al Ansari is a beautiful riad which has been recently renovated to the highest standard. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings and Moroccan architectural detail. I had a lovely room with a view of the courtyard. Most importantly, Hicham, the manager, was very hospitable and welcoming. He is charming and made me feel totally comfortable and safe. I couldn’t get over the detailed, colorful tile mosaic work in our room and outside our door , where we had the opportunity to sit in a beautiful sitting area to have mint tea or wine. "Riad Tiwza Fes was lovely. Breakfasts were served in a comfortable lounge around a fire. The room was very comfortable. Had the temperatures been warmer, we would have spent more time on the roof deck. My only complaint is that it took forever for the hot water to warm up for the shower... mine was lukewarm, but my husband who followed me had a hot shower! One minor issue that we often encounter in older places: the bathroom ceilings were very low and my husband who is 6'2" (or nearly 2 meters)...
