"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. "Love the hotel room the four poster bed with the lake view. Great location, very close to the shopping area, cafes, bars, restaurants & the lake. Breakfast need to improve, very standard, not many options. We extended our stay, but we were little bit disappointed how the house keeping tidy up our bed. Should be the same quality as we checked in, not very tidy as supposed to be, specially with the room we paid."

"We had a lovely stay at the Whitewater hotel. All the staff were very friendly. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 month old baby and was given a really spacious room on the ground floor with a travel cot. We did stay for dinner at the hotel. The starter was a bit disappointing and when the waiter asked why we hadn't finished it he took it off the bill. The lamb and the steak was lovely. Breakfast was also nice.
