"If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away, be bothered by no one, but still have access to first rate restaurants and wine, look no further. This place is better than advertised. Amazing views, perfect cabin, and secluded. Highly recommend. "

"We come to Monte Rio every year and will definitely try to return to this lovely home! It has great location to our favorite coffee shops and hike spots. We enjoyed the fire place and fenced in yard for our bubs. "

Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can."

"We had a wonderful Christmas week here. Very convenient location Comfortable for 6 adults. Cooked most of our meals here and had plenty of supplies. It rained while we were here so we did not get to enjoy the decks and outdoor area but it would be so fun when the weather cooperated. Redwoods are amazing!"

"This was our 2nd time to this property. On clear days you can see the ocean and watch the marine layer roll in. The views are breathtaking. Sunsets, awe inspiring. Stargazing, incredible. We spent many hours under the night sky this trip. Many skunks were out this time and our dog narrowly avoided getting sprayed, but that’s nature for you. Thank you Sharon for offering this gem for others to enjoy. We will be back. "

"The property was clean, wifi reliable, and well supplied. I would note that the driveway past the gate is note an easy drive for low cars which do not have AWD/4WD but there is room in front of the gate for 1-2 vehicles. "

"Our stay in this wonderful Monte Rio home cannot be overstated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable Thanksgiving week here. The home had everything we needed. The hot tub had a few easily solved quirks, but that was it! We stayed warm, ate well, and really enjoyed the area. We hiked along Jenner Headlands Preserve, wine tasting at Lambert Bridge Winery,awesome sandwiches at The Farmer’s Wife in Sebastopol, and attended an extraordinary concert at the Iccidental Center for the Arts. "Small side it is perfect for bringing a midsize Family total number four. You is amazing perfect while soaking in the hot tub, your view and sound of the ocean is exceptional. Using the TV was a bit frustrating as you have to use your own login information to stream Apps. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which was helpful. Plenty of things to do around town, including beautiful walks on the beach. And I. Wood. And would return again."
