"Nouvel hotel had a lot of old world charm. The lobby, though small, was very welcoming as were the staff. We had a triple room three twin beds, which were very comfortable. The hotel is right off La Rambas on a quiet street. Very convenient for walking to everything. "

No fault of hotel or staff, unfortunately some of our stay was in a room overlooking La Rambla…noisy due to construction during the day and a festival at night with rowdy revellers all night long. "Just left this morning. What a great four day stay. The location is perfect for Barcelona first-timers with easy access to most the spots where you are likely to spend your time. While close to las Ramblas where a lot of action is, with entry on side street, it is still quiet and quaint. The rooftop bar and pool is a perfect hangout spot and the beds were super comfy and rooms spacious be European standards. Lots of great dining nearby . "

"Such a great place to stay if you’re coming to Barcelona ! It’s in the gothic quarter - a short walk for. Las Ramblas and the Bouqueria Mercat. Lots of fun and great shopping right out the front door. The food on site is just ok. Room was great. You can hear noise from the streets, but it was still ok. "
