"Our stay at the villa was fantastic! Communication with the owners was great, they even met us in person to show us around and answer any questions. The location made it easy to walk to the museum and other local sites. We appreciated the guidebook with lots of recommendations on places to eat. We would highly recommend staying here!"

"Easy clear instructions to pickup key etc Apartment comfortable , very comfortable bed and nice linen good bathroom great shower , had everything needed for short stay Could have been cleaner in lounge and kitchen area , bathroom very clean except for back of door "

"Bathtub was damaged and not safe for a child. Kitchen skylight was severely spidered with large cracks from an impact. 'Courtyard' slab is just a breezeway with a dusty view of others' construction projects. Stairs and flooring were amazingly creaky, so don't expect any children/people to sleep while others are awake. The space was generally sparse, lacking any thoughtful decoration, and like a shared dorm that nobody has bothered to take care of. A/C vents were loading the dust and fluff. One...

"Stayed at this property for a week our family of 5 with three kids and a family member visiting from overseas. I selected this property for its ability to accommodate the size of our group and the location within the city and it did not disappoint. The Viaduct/Wynyard Quarter are so close by, along with Sky City/Sky Tower and the Queen Street shops. "I loved the hotel room. It is the nicest one I've been in during my stay in Auckland. Fortunately I could pay to park in the underground carpark before I arrived but I did not see that it was paid parking when I booked the room. "

"From the moment I stepped out of the taxi until I left the staff were so polite and helpful and professional. The room was perfectly clean and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious - with a bath! Room service dining was timely and a yummy pizza! The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage for those staying for longer than a couple of nights. Thank You I would be very happy to return to and recommend the Cordis. "

"For such a reasonable price, I wasn't expecting much. Microwave, heating kettle, toaster, fridge, coffe, tea, dish soap, creamer, sugar all available. My main issue was the bed was on wheels and rolled every time I got in it. Simple fix, I pushed it to the wall. Apparently a family owned business. Pleasant people to work with. Let us store our bags until 2pm check in. Little park across the road."

Central and comfortable

"Central hotel with comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, but the bath towels are a bit on the small side. We had a big room with a view towards the docks, which was lovely. Even though the hotel offers no breakfast, there are so many cafés and eateries minutes away, so we didnt really mind. Would absolutely stay again."
