"The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn. Communication before and during our stay with Sue, the host was also excellent, and we were very appreciative of the board games she loaned for us to play with the children! "Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...
