"Unfortunately we could not make the trip as my wife’s mum was taken into hospital. It was the night before are stay so could not get a refund. I did contact the hotel directly to see if there was a chance of a new date just in case. I did get a nice email from Amanda to confirm we could not . But did offer next time in Aberdeen they would look after us . Thanks again to Amanda. "

"Welcomed with a cosy, traditional style room, tartan throws, stag lamps small fireplace - lovely surroundings - breakfast room airy with outward views - breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff very friendly and excellent price for the stay and breakfast. Thank you 👌"

"I loved the Ship Inn. The staff were very helpful. The room was perfect for what I was looking for. It was walkable from the train station. It was convenient to walk to Dunnottar Castle. I went out early to run and felt safe. The locals were friendly. Lots of cute little restaurants and cafes. The Ship Inn restaurant was very good. I would stay again."
