"Having an SUV, it was actually fun to go up the infamous final hill to get to the cabin. I really enjoyed the fireplace, and the cabin was as advertised. Nice view of the lake at sunrise, and it was a great place to get away. "

"We had my parents and our family for a total of 7 people. It was a great cabin and the views from the porch were beautiful. We went Nashville for the day and then sat waterfalls and caverns the next. It was a good location to all of those. "

"Everything was perfect until the last day when the gate for entrance/exiting was broken. And no maintenance person could be found !! Dragging our luggage and groceries out of the area, up a steep incline is NOT fun!!! Poor, poor planning on the part of the HOA."

"What a great cabin getaway to enjoy the sites and have the luxury to be close to some great hikes including Burgess Falls state park and Fall creek falls state park. The property manager and staff were exceptional and we experienced an expedited response to our needs! Our experience to the property was clean and comfortable!"

"Located on 185 acres. Very quiet & secluded adjacent to the Caney Fork River. There is a large house close to the property that can hold a rather large group of people. We were there prior to the Thanksgiving holiday & it was very peaceful until the night before Thanksgiving. 5 car loads of people. Smuch "

"Stayed the weekend to go watch our niece in her final band performance for her senior year. The place was great, and well of the beaten path and away from traffic noise, etc. Reading the reviews ahead of time I had no doubt it would be a lovely little place and it did not disappoint. To the “spoiled tourist” that posted a bad review anonymously…not sure what you’re complaining about. Maybe next time you should check into a hotel instead. "

"Hurricane Marina is the middle of middle Tennessee and the perfect location for your getaway. The house is comfortable, homey, has everything you need and is a great jumping off point for exploring, lakes, state parks and Nashville. "

Our stay was early spring, so the community pool wasn't open yet, but the boys had fun biking up and down the road to the pool location and the home was big enough for them to play hide-and-seek indoors (it got a bit chilly once the sun went down - again, we were there in early spring). "This was our 2nd time at the cabin. We spent a few days through New Year's for our son's birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed kayaking... even in the cold weather. We saw lots of wildlife. It was very relaxing. We will definitely come back. "

"Very relaxing trip for the holidays. House was lovely and just the right size for our group of six and our dogs. It was what we needed after a several hard years and losses in our family. Would recommend a tv in the single upstairs bedroom just for parents trying to get some peace from their grown children’s choices:). It was perfect though!"

"The home was nicely apportioned. Very close to all the tourist sights in Murfreesboro. The beds were comfortable. The celing is low in the basement, but it was great to have the extra space. We had some trouble getting into the property ( the code sent to us was incorrect), but I don't expect anyone else to have the same issues."
