"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"The cottage is lovely and in a great position with nice views out to the hills. It is well located and a short walk down into town (but probably a long climb back which we didn’t do because of the ice) The hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. "We absolutely loved our stay at The Bobbin and just wish it were longer. The cottage is cosy and inviting, and it was our perfect home base to explore Derbyshire. Everything was clean, Simon was wonderfully communicative, and we loved the tip about going to the Ashford Arms for dinner. It was so good we went back the next night. We're already dreaming up an excuse to stay here again!"

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...
