"Pictures don't do this place justice. Super well taken care of home in the middle of gods country. If you need a place to escape this is it. The home has any extras you might be missing. They have thought of everything. The house and beds are very comfortable. I wish every place I stayed was this nice. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested...

"This property is very remote but there is a small town about 10 minutes away. Host is very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was no wi-fi internet, no cell service and no land-line. So we were completely cut off from the outside world and we survived! Host was very apologetic about wi-fi that was cut out by Hurricane Helene and has not been able to be fixed, yet. "The listing states "step back in time" and that certainly sets the tone. If you are looking for a place to stay where peace and nature are the main features, look no further. Nice accommodations, plenty of heat sources to help you stay warm, kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, spices, oils to help make meals with. I personally loved the that there was a new kitchen sponge waiting for me (it's the little things). Back porch is covered with a tin roof. We sat out there for over an hour...

"I’m usually against VRBOs because staying at a hotel is fairly easy but with a new baby and a dog it’s hard to find a quiet hotel anywhere. This place was absolutely amazing. Perfect for everything we need, the hosts were very attentive to our needs and requests, the space was beautiful, and the views were even better. "Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"The house is beautiful. Pretty stream on property. Wish the hot tub was working though. There were flies and stink bugs in the bedrooms. That was gross and annoying unfortunately. But other than thay it was a clean house. The road it is on is very quiet. Some of the beds were very stiff and uncomfortable."
