"Unfortunately we only stayed the night on our trip back from Florida. The home was exactly as described and better than we expected. The home was super clean and the host is amazing. She’s so friendly and responded right away with the few questions we had, and she even left a nice snack selection which was such a treat because we arrived pretty late due to the weather and traffic conditions along the way. We hope to come back and stay for a few days or a week, just a beautiful peaceful area and...

"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable home. It is in a charming rural area but still close to I-81, Abingdon, Bristol and Marion. We were close to lots of great hiking. We would stay here again!"

"Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. "Our stay at the River House was everything we hoped it would be for our Thanksgiving visit. It’s a tranquil setting along the river and plenty of amenities for the kids and adults. Sharon and Bob are consummate hosts. We hope to stay again on our return visit. "
