"I loved this property was perfect for our family holiday weekend. It felt as if I walked into a Hallmark movie. Everything was decorated. We were able to place our gifts under the tree and open them up in the morning when we rose just like Christmas. Loved the porch and being able to sit around the fire ! We had everything we needed ! "

"We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"

"We had 6 adults who enjoyed the very clean Flat Top Farmhouse. The surrounding area was beautiful and there was plenty to see and do. Pipestem Resort includes the Presidential Bunker Tour and if you haven't heard about it - it is worth the time to see it! In summary, we really enjoyed our stay in West Virginia."

"Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong."

"House was very charming and still had so much of its original character. The beds were very comfortable and the porch was enjoyed by all. We were a group of 6 adults and the seating in the living room was not adequate. At least 1 other chair would have been nice. The location was great and close to many activities."

"The house was large with plenty of room for all of us (8 adults and 5 kids). There was plenty of kitchen ware for the cooking and eating. Overall it was adequately clean but, it could use a good deep clean, some repairs and some paint."

"Beautiful, well kept cabin. Quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had many cooking utensils and supplies. Informational book about the cabin and surrounding area very helpful. Great location for local activities. "

"This was a lovely woodland location. And so quiet. We had a wonderful time cooking, talking and going for walks. Blissfully away from computers and TV. (They were available, though the internet was out.) The little house was stocked with everything you could possibly need and the furniture was really comfy. There was a lovely babbling brook behind the house that had rills and waterfalls and made us want to come back in the spring to see the wild flowers and the trees in leaf. Would definitely...

"The cleanliness was ok we did notice bugs in the kitchen and was not aware no central air. Also no instructions for running the tv and no instructions on what to do with trash when leaving since they only pick up once a week. It worked for what we needed but have had better experience"
